Government work is complex. That’s just the reality of what it means to spend public money and make decisions that affect people’s lives. The structure, the oversight, the layers of accountability exist for good reason. I’ve spent more than a decade working inside that environment, and if I’m honest, I find it genuinely interesting. The governance, the careful pace of decision-making, the weight that comes with getting it right — that’s what drew me to this work and keeps me here.
I built my career across financial services across Europe, Middle East and Africa before making a deliberate move into Australian public sector work — and it’s where I’ve done my most meaningful work. Across federal, state, and local government, spanning health, climate, technology, and infrastructure, I work with leadership teams to strengthen how they plan, make decisions, and execute on what matters.
Beyond the advisory work, I write and speak on public sector delivery, digital transformation, and leadership. I’ve presented at Tech in Gov, the Digital NSW Showcase, and the National Project Management Conference in Ghana, and appeared on Tech Talks Daily and AgileDrop. My writing has been featured in ARNnet, IT Brief, and TechDay. I’ve authored three books and hold Master’s degrees from the University of Canberra and the University of Hertfordshire. In 2023 I received a National AIPM Award for my contribution to project management in Australia.
Away from work I follow Manchester United with more loyalty than they’ve earned lately, watch Formula One for the strategy as much as the racing, and tend to a growing collection of houseplants with mixed results.
If you’re navigating complexity and want a thinking partner — let’s talk.
